Went to the Initial D cocktail reception with Eric yesterday, thanks to Silvana who gave me the ticket. This picture was taken using my 6230, not bad right, considering it is a 0.3 megapixal phone haha. Well we should have gone to the reception straight, instead of loitering at the red carpet, where teenage girls were screaming their heads out for Jay Chou and Edison. With air-conditioning, free gifts and a better view, going to the reception directly was obviously the better choice. Alas, we realised too late. But the time we went in, we only managed to get one set of the momentos, and had to split it among the two of us. But it was quite a good experience, chasing stars haha. Posted by Hello

I will be serving the 1st of my 3 confinements this weekend, on my birthday. Well, at least with Qin Qin, Jun Han and Roger also serving, it will be fun. The confinements were given by Mr. Birdy Man, as we only ran 2 rounds out of the required 3 in the camp run on Friday. Well, it was really my own fault, being lazy. But the same cannot be said for Jun Han.

He was really sick, stopping and vomitting at least 4 times in the two rounds that we (Jun Han, Qin Qin and Me) ran together. But Mr Birdy Man insisted that he was malingering, and even wanted to charge him.

All this incidents always happened when all the important appointment holders were away from camp, thus making him the most powerful man in camp. In the history of my unit, he is now the one that has given out the most amount of punishments. A legend. Well if promotions are given according to the number of extras you managed to get your men to sign, he will certainly be a verry verry high-flyer.

NOTE: Mr Birdy Man is a fictitious character, there is really no such person existing.

As xxxxx was excused for range, our favourite xxxxxxxx was handed the appointment of range sergeant major, which in simple terms, meant that he has the power to scold us left right centre, with no good reason to speak of. He knocked us down in our SBO at the end of day 1 as he said we were too noisy for his liking. Well, we had to spend the whole day in the training shed mind you, what does he expect, that we do not speak a word for the whole day? And it wasn't as if we were all talking at the top of our voices. the noice level was tolerable. Then he scolded us for sleeping in the training shed, before going to sleep on his own. I think alot of us really wanted to load our weapons and kill him once and for all, and be our hero. Ya, that's why people invent weapons, haha.

On the second day, i don't know what got into him. I think he wanted to impress us, so he went to shoot the ATP. He didn't even zero the weapon, so as expected, he hit only 4 or 5 out of 16 i think. That from a guards marksman. A flop haha.

Well, he did make amends by not turning Feng Rui and me out during our guard duty yesterday, but the damaged was already done, not just during the range, but from the first day i came into xxxx.

Note: Again, this post has been edited for the same reasons.

After 2 weeks of off, i'll be booking in tonight and prepare for range tomorrow. "Sian" is the word that best describes my mood now, with close to 14 hours of "civilian life" left. But I think i have another week of off the week after next, so that's something to look forward to.

We have to hand in the army donation drive form tomorrow, with at least $12 in it. Well, can you name any donation drive that you participated in, that forces you to collect a certain amount of sum, if not you have to fork out the balance yourself? Well that's the Singapore Armed Forces for you. They must as well deduct $12 from my pay directly, instead of giving me the card. Save trees haha.

And I will be doing guard duty together with Hong Swee this saturday, and no, we are not serving extras. Those who have extras can serve it on weekdays. But the best thing is, the BOS for saturday is the most well-liked and caring sergeant from my unit, and that's Mr Wayang. So well, at least i know that on saturday, the BOS will treat me well haha...

NOTE: Mr Wayang is a fictitious character.

I have to book in tomorrow morning to set up a xxxx for the xxxxxxxxx as he needs it for his xxx xxxxxx. It is said that he will stand on top of the xxxxx, with a xx mounted, as the rover drives past the xxxxxx. Typical stupid plan made by, who else but our wonderful officers. We even have to put red carpet on the floor of the xxxxx, just for him. Who does he think he is, the xxxxx xx xxxx? He dosen't even know how tiring it is, to stand on top holding the stupid xx during xxxxxxxxxxx, with the driver thinking that he is Sebastien Loeb, and how painful it is when you spot the xxxx xxxxx, and the xxx xxx tells you to xxxx xxxx. Painful because you have to clean the xx after xxxxxxxxxxx all by yourself. All he does is to make his way down during xxxxxxxxxx time to xxx xxx xxxx, with a runner in tow, and with food, cold drinks and even newspapers in his xxxxx. Not fogetting his champion chair of course. And now, he wants to stand on the xxxx during his xxx, without knowing how much "shit-work" we do before and after xxxxxxxxxxx, and how much "shit-work" we have to do tomorrow, just for him to enjoy that "glorious" moment. Well i bet it not his idea actually. It must be the idea of some stupid officers below him who wants to suck-up to him in order to be promoted. But who cares, SAF regulars are all the same, and that's not stereo-typing.

Note: The post above has been edited so that you will not understand what i am talking about, but still knows that i am suffering shit in camp, as this are all stuff that you are not supposed to know.
