Went to service the Sentra SE-R with my dad. The engine oil, spark plugs, oil and air filter were changed, and the whole process took about an hour. I am now a certified car mechanic (with ISO 9005). The service package will cost only $500 (an opening promotion) and will consist of what was done to my car today. All makes and models are welcome. The promotion is vaild till 31/12/2005. If you're interested, please call me for a booking during working hours...

Watched "All About Love" with Jimmy just now. Quite a touching show, espically the part where Andy Lau reads what Charlie Yeung wrote for him, after she had died. Definately a must-see for couples (and gays like jimmy and me).

A pity that Peng Koon can't catch this movie now, as this show is specially talior-made for him (unlike "Goal"). Well, lets hope that they will still be screening this movie when he comes back from Wallaby...

My whole bunk, except me, will be off to Australia tomorrow. I hereby wish them all the best, and I will guard our bunk, defending it from intruders like Mr. Donald WITH MY LIFE!!! Yes, i will also help all of you change your bedsheets, and clean the bunk up to Mr. Yap's high expections.

So lay all your worries behind, and fight hard in Operation Desert Storm, as Guang Jenq will always be behind all of you...

Now this is what I think.

The Singapore Government should subsidise on petrol, or reduce it's amount of taxation on it, and maybe cap it at $1.5 a litre. This will not, contrary to what most people think, make Singapore follow in Indonesia's footsteps. In fact, this will spur growth.

The theory goes like this, with petrol prices now hitting $1.897 per litre, people are driving slowly to save petrol, this causes frustration on the roads, and frustration in turn, reduces productivity. In order to get to work on time, while driving at a slower speed, people have to wake up earlier then usual, thus get tired more easily during the course of work, again reducing productivity. Indirectly, having to wake up early also reduces productivity of another kind, and having less children means the was-parents-to-be have less motivation to work harder at work.

Yes, one can say taking public transport will save all this problems, but remember, the roads are still slower now, thus one still have to wake up early. Also, dreams and aspirations are killed with the rising petrol prices, dreams of buying a jag at the age of 21 (for one of the guys in my camp). One can say that you just have to work harder, to fulfill that dream, but can you guarentee that petrol prices won't hit $2 or even $3 per litre, thus moving the goal posts further and further away unitl one cannot see it, and lose his or her aim in life?

One of the reason Singapore attracts so many investors is because of it's first class transportation system. With petrol prices higher than most in the region, and with the region opening up and improving more and more, can Singapore keep it's edge?

So Singapore should really look into capping petrol prices, thus increasing productivity, investments. Most importantly, I do not have to watch how much i press the accelerator anymore, and be able to concentrate more on the roads, with my mind cleared of images of money flying out of my already shallow pocket when the accelerator is pressed.

Went 85 with PK, Nani Ang Kok Heng and Shemale for dinner. Talked quite abit of carp there and during the journey to 85. Nani kept asking us who was bad-mouthing him in camp, and upon knowing the culprit, was devising plans to get back at that particular guy. So in these few days, if any of you get hurt in any way, either physically or emotionally, well you know who did it...

Peng Koon is still angry at me, for having the permission to book out everyday, and not going to the Wallaby trip next week. Well his reason goes like this, "you should feel hornoured that i'm angry with you, coz this shows that you are a important person in our section. You don't see me getting angry with H G Neo for malingering right, as even if he's still in our section, he still won't accomplish much." So actually, i should feel happy that he is angry with me...

Ok back to my organ practise...
